Snapfish Photo-Book and Prints Review

(If you're reading this post in email or RSS and can't see the video, please click here.)

I'll admit it, I very rarely get prints of the photographs I take with my Digital Cameras, whether that be my phone, my Canon EOS 350d dSLR or any of the small point and shoots we use (we're too skint). However, before we went on holiday to the Isle of Wight (check out the blog I wrote about it) I collected some vouchers in the Daily Mail that gave me a free photo-book from Snapfish, which you can see in the above video.

It took a bit of getting used to the online editor that Snapfish use, but once I'd uploaded some images and started playing around with the layouts, the book started to come together. One quick tip is to try the "magic layouts" which are great for when you want the space between your photos as small as possible.

I also decided to order prints of the photos I used in the book, because when you join Snapfish they offer you plenty of introductory discounts, so I got the photos very cheap. The price of the photobook would normally be £24.99, but watch out for special offers and discount coupons that can make this a lot cheaper.

I really liked the prints at Snapfish, mine were the 6"x4", and you can get them for a very reasonable 5p each if you take up their pre-pay offer. (P&P still applies). It's said that a photograph doesn't really exist until it's a print, and at this price I think I'll be taking that saying to heart.

In conclusion, I really liked the Photobook from Snapfish, the prints were great too, and their pre-paid offer that gets you more photographs at 5p each is a real bargain.

Thanks, Rob.
