In case you haven't already seen it,you may wish to watch this documentary on Frank Hurley.

I enjoy the history of photographers also,thanks for making a podcast on this,
on a fellow Australian Frank Hurley,it was great to learn about him and his work,
and tenacity to get those shots with all those glass plates and heavy equipment
in such a brutal unforgiving environment like Antarctica,
as you described,pretty remarkable indeed and inspiring.

The documentary ads to that so anyone like to know more copy and paste the above link.
