Hiya Rob,

Really good podcast yet again. Like your commitment to it all, late night after a working bank holiday and still time to do a podcast - commendable!

I've said many times before but I must repeat it, I thoroughly enjoy your journey in photography.

It's great seeing how you're getting on with the Canon, realisations to things and working out solutions to problems and making some of those 'problems' part of the photography. We all too often, (and I'm no exception here), concentrate on what a camera cannot do or complain about the foibles. Often to the point of becoming a distraction to what we're supposed to be doing, taking and making pictures.

You mentioned television and film once before regarding photography, noticing things like rules of thirds, angles of view and the like. Great to see that you've been seeing this even further as you've travelled your photographic path. It's something that I've admired since I was a child, how a film can hold scenes that stick in your mind like a well thought out and captured photographic still. After all a movie is just a whole series of stills and the masters of film know this full well and utilise their photographic skills to the upmost. (My favourite films include Ridley Scott's 'Blade-Runner' and David Lean & Sam Spiegel's 'Lawrence of Arabia' with awesome cinematography by Freddie Young, both stunning films where each scene could be a perfect photo still!!)

Anyway, brilliant work and love how you sit there talking like an old photographic 'pro' nowadays :)

All the Best,

Victor

Hi Victor,

Glad you enjoyed the 'cast. When I started doing the episodes with few notes, pretty much off the top of my head, I was worried that my ramblings would be annoying and repetitive, but hopefully they're still OK.

Looking forward to your new enterprise, can't wait to see what it is!

Cheers, Rob.
